He is sweet and lovable. When you say his name, Maui? He likes to flip on his back and get belly rubbed. He is very smart and understands tones. He likes to sit in the window and watch the birds and squirrels. He is a cutie.

I had a townhome at the time and was asked by some people from church to watch him. I decided to keep him when I had a home, but I no longer have a townhome or home. It is very difficult to find a room or apartment with a cat. Since I am homeless, I fee Maui deserves a real home with a caretaker that can truelly invest to love him and give him a home. I will be sad, but have no choice.

The ideal home for Maui would be with someone that loves cats and has a calm environment. He jumps to noises and hides from strangers. He once lived with other cats, but I am not sure he would like other cats. He seems like a loner cat. I would not bring him around little children due to maybe making him nervous. If I were to bring a cat around Maui, I might introduce him to a female young cat slowly. Not a male. He loves play time and chasing paper balls.

He has no current medical issues. His eyes are sensitive to certain cat litters so I usually only use unscented.
