Our history and credentials

• Peninsula CatWorks was founded in 2004, when a well-established humane society shut down its highly regarded rescue/foster/adoption program. Their dedicated volunteers created Peninsula CatWorks to carry on their successful work helping homeless cats. That work, changed with the times, continues today.
• We are experienced volunteer rescuers helping other rescuers and the public. We have done it all – Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR), fostering, managing adoptions, vet visits, case management.
• There is no payroll, no overhead, no hidden expenses.
• Every dollar you donate directly provides care for homeless cats.

Board of Directors

ANN NUSSBAUM, President

Ann has been an active cat rescuer since 1989, trapping, feeding, fostering, adopting. She was on the board of a local humane society for many years and managed their veterinary help programs on a volunteer basis until November 2021. She worked closely with volunteers, pet owners, and veterinary clinics, to make every dollar count. In former lives, she was an advertising and publicity manager, technical writer, small business owner.

Pam has been caring for community cat colonies as well as fostering sick or injured cats and kittens since 2014. A small business owner in Palo Alto for 32 years, she sits on the Boards of Stanford Shopping Center Merchants and Tent City Barbers, a non-profit providing haircuts for the houseless.
