The fee is $100/cat ($120/kitten) and includes a veterinary examination, spay or neuter surgery, a FeLV/FIV test, the first 3-in-1 vaccination, a microchip, and a cat/kitten care kit.
- I agree that if for any reason I am no longer able to care for the cat/kitten, I will contact a Peninsula CatWorks representative to arrange for his/her return under the following conditions:
- The cat/kitten must be in good health.
- The cat/kitten must have current immunizations.
- The cat/kitten must have recently tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
- If the cat/kitten is to be returned within one year of his/her adoption, Peninsula CatWorks will take him/her back at no charge.
- If the cat/kitten is to be returned between one and two years after his/her adoption, Peninsula CatWorks will require a $50 fee to take him/her back.
- If the cat/kitten is to be returned more than two years after his/her adoption, Peninsula CatWorks will not take him/her back, but will provide assistance in finding him/her a new home.
- If the cat/kitten is lost, I agree to contact a Peninsula CatWorks representative within 24 hours. (A higher success rate of finding a lost cat/kitten occurs within this timeframe.) Peninsula CatWorks will advise in search.
- I agree to take the cat/kitten to a vet or low-cost clinic no later than for appropriate vaccinations, treatments, and so forth.
- I agree to allow a Peninsula CatWorks representative to check on the welfare of the cat/kitten from time to time.
- I am aware of the long-term commitment I am making in this adoption and I agree to care for the cat/kitten for the rest of his/her life, which may be 20 years.
- I agree to provide a veterinarian reference to a Peninsula CatWorks representative before the adoption is finalized.
- I agree that the cat/kitten will not be declawed. I agree to keep the cat/kitten indoors at all times to the extent that the surrounding premises may be hazardous to the cat/kitten's well-being, for example, an outdoor area close to the street. Peninsula CatWorks representative and adoption party shall agree on whether outdoor premises are hazardous.
- I understand that the above statements constitute a contract between the undersigned and , and if the above conditions are not met, or if inaccurate or unverifiable information has been provided, Peninsula CatWorks retains the right to reclaim the cat/kitten. I understand that access to my property to repossess this animal is not an act of trespassing.
- I agree that the actions of animals may be unpredictable and that makes no representations as to the behavior and temperament of the cat/kitten. I agree to accept possession of the cat/kitten at my own risk and hereby release and waive any right against Peninsula CatWorks now or in the future for any damages to person(s) or property caused by the cat/kitten.
