Francois was found under a car by someone walking their dog and was very ill with an upper respiratory infection. It took Francois a while to recover but he is doing well now, but sometimes has a clear discharge from the eye because the duct is so small with the resulting scar tissue.

Francois is a LOVE! Although initially very scared with new people, Francois likes to curl up on laps and in bed, purring so loudly that you may go deaf! He also likes to "talk" and gets along well with other adult cats (he and the other cat in our home lick and play with each other). Francois is great with young kittens and cuddles with them and cleans their faces. He is not an alpha cat and would be a good companion to another gentle cat.
