Loving cat who loves to sit in your lap and get a good rubdown. He is an eager learner, and will come when called, especially if he will get a treat or get carried around outside. He's an indoor cat, but loves to roam the yard, so I compromise by carrying him around in my arms.

I was disposing of a couch that had been dumped on a property that I manage, and found Kuro and his sister Haiiro as feral 6 week old kittens. I adopted them and my wife and I have cared for them since 2011. Unfortunately, after the birth of our daughter, my wife has developed inexplicable hives, and we have tried to eliminate all of the allergens in our home, which now means that we can no longer keep our cats.

Kuro can be skittish around strangers, so children will cause him to run. Uncertain if he will play well with other cats, but he is bonded to his sister, Haiiro, and they get along fine. Kuro does need attention, probably around an hour of petting a day, and he lets me know by coming around and meowing at me.

Ideally, we would like to see him be adopted with his sister, Haiiro.
