Potato lives up to his name. He's a very easy going cuddle bug. He loves people and will go up to visitors to greet them and get some attention. He also loves to cuddle either on your lap or in your bed. He has a great temperament, never bites or scratches, no marking tendencies, no destructive tendencies towards furniture. He doesn't pay with any toys and isn't big on training interactions preferring to just be nearby or on your lap enjoying your presence. No one that has seen him has been able to resist his charms (just look at those eyes), he's a crowd favorite.
Potato came to me as a stay rescue from LA. I've had him since 2013 when I lived in Irvine. We're not sure how old he is but they estimated him to be around 6 when I adopted him so he should be 10. Due to my new job, I'm required to travel 25-50% overnight and I'm no longer able to care for him.
Potato's ideal home would be one that is quiet with someone that loves to show their cat affection. He's low maintenance and can entertain himself with naps when you are busy. Just make sure to have his food and water bowls full! Do note that he is a long haired white cat so you must be OK with a furball that will coat anything it touches with long thin strands of white hair. Potato tolerates dogs but would probably do better in a household without one. He's not an alpha so he can likely do well with another cat. He has a sister Calypso and they did well when they were in a 1000 sqft condo, Calypso has become more aggressive towards him now that they are crammed in a 600sqft apartment.
Potato has no outstanding health problems but he's currently a bit stressed from the limited space and his sister Calypso being mean towards him.
Potato is currently living in Foster City, CA 94404
