People say black cats are extra smart. That may be true, but this black kitty is extra loving too. He watches your face and makes eye contact to be in close connection with you. Ready and eager to be some lucky person's adoring and adored companion. He loves sleeping in bed with you too.

Pierre was rescued as a homeless kitten and has been with his human mom ever since. Sadly, she can no longer keep him. Perhaps because of his scary early life, he developed a habit of eating weird things - broom bristles, string, rush chair seats, and so on. He has had three surgeries to remove these foreign substances. His new family needs to be extra careful to keep such inedibles away from him. He is fine with fabrics and pillows, but might be tempted by shoelaces.

Pierre is not a good fit for a home with children and he needs to be an indoor only cat. He is great with other cats. This super sweet boy needs a safe, loving home where he will reward you by being a wonderful companion.
