Cloud

Cloud w/VR (PCW #1627)
Male
Calico

Cloud is very shy but he is not aggressive but is nervous with new people. Once he becomes comfortable with you (which can take a matter of minutes, days, or even a week) he will show his affection immediately by wanting to spend as much time with you as possible. He loves being petted, groomed with a brush, and having his tummy rubbed. What I found to be his most attractive aspect was his eyes.... they are so big and lovable. He was very playful with toys when he was adopted but he has definitely slowed down slightly over the years. He is still very active when playing/chasing Tifa around the house.

Cloud (and his bonding cat Tifa) were adopted from the Humane Society in 2005. He was around 5-6 months when he was adopted. They were a birthday gift for my girlfriend at the time. We broke up in 2012 in which she left the cats with me. I have been taking care of them and would continue to do so if it weren't for my now current girlfriend being pregnant with our child and being allergic to cats. This is a tough decision for me as I have been with these cats for a very long time. I want to ensure that the new home they are placed in will be one they can live in forever.

The ideal home for Cloud is one that is with his bonding cat, Tifa. They have been in house and apartment environments and are comfortable in any of them. As mentioned before he can be shy around new people and environments but once he gets comfortable he just wants to cuddle, play, and sleep.

He was very playful with toys when he was adopted but he has definitely slowed down slightly over the years. He is still very active when playing/chasing Tifa around the house. He is an indoor cat and is actually a bit fearful of going outside so there is no problem with leaving the door open. This can be a bit problematic if you need to take him to the vet as he gets very scared when going into the pet carrier. He is very vocal when he is hungry and when the liter needs to be changed (meowing/looking directly at food bowl or liter). He sheds the same amount as any other cat so a regular grooming schedule should be maintained.

Cloud has always been a healthy cat and I have had no complications with him aside from having to take him to the vet only once due to a bad bout of pruritus (itching).

As mentioned before it is preferable if Cloud is adopted with his bonding cat, Tifa.
