Oscar was mistakenly placed in a feral cat program in 2013 and was recently discovered at a Volkswagen dealership emaciated, filthy, and near death. On the day he was found he curled up in his rescuer's arms and wouldn't stop purring. In only a few weeks he was restored to health and he is now ready to start his new life.

Oscar has been around quite a few loud, rambunctious kids in the past month or so and has done nothing but purr for all of them. He would probably do great in a household with children willing to pet him and play with him.

Oscar adores all love and affection people are willing to bestow upon him and MUST be an only-animal in the house. He does NOT do well with other cats (and likely does not do well with dogs either). He also has a strong hunting instinct and would not do well with birds or small animals.

He enjoys playing with feathers and cat toys, and will need people to shower him with love.

Oscar is up-to-date on all shots and flea/tick treatments, Felv negative, and is neutered and microchipped.

He has some serious dental issues and there is a fund to cover some of the cost of his care using the vet of your choice. He also has displayed some signs of extreme stress recently and will be examined by a vet this week to ensure no further problems.
