Megs is a quiet girl with a grumpy demeanor, but a sweet soul. She likes to be nearby and supervise, but does not demand attention. She prefers to approach you rather than be approached. She is not a snuggle kitty, but if you are patient, she will sit in your lap and purr like a motorboat. She loves interactive play with her mouse-on-a-string toy.

When we moved in together 2 years ago, we each had an adult female cat. We've had them since they were kittens, and would prefer to keep them both despite their conflicts. Unfortunately, this year the younger cat developed a chronic health issue that has been made worse by the tension between them. We've realized that we need to permanently separate them.

Megs needs to live indoors, in a quiet home with no children or other pets.

Megs is 12 years old. She is healthy and current on vaccinations, and her breed is typically robust and long-lived. She's independent, well-behaved and easy to care for.
