Trout w/DS (PCW #1596)
Male
Domestic Short Hair
Black and brown stripes on top, white underneath

Trout is an affectionate, clean, and handsome cat. He's got a big frame and just a bit of a belly, but his size and weight (~15 pounds) won't deter him from getting cuddly on small laps. If he had his way he would spend 80% of the time cuddling, 15% chasing string, and 5% eating Whiskas Temptations.

Trout is a bold cat, no hiding under the bed for him. As soon as he is introduced to a new place he walks all over it to explore the layout. He makes friends quickly and will try to cuddle with you any time you hold still for a few minutes. Sometimes he wants to be left alone but if you watch his expression he'll let you know when that line is being crossed before a paw swipe happens.

He's fascinated with water and will probably jump into the shower after you get out to stare at drops as they collect and drain, maybe catching a few on his tongue. He loves to cuddle at night, right by your side or between your feet. He knows when you're sleeping and is tolerant of the occasional accidental kick.

Trout has taken a solemn vow to mercilessly attack all string. This hunting prowess has helped him catch a few birds from porches over the years. He gets very excited whenever he hears a can opened but is paradoxically uninterested in anything that comes out of the can. When he's happy and about to get cuddly he will knead you or a pillow.

Trout was adopted in 2008 when he was a year old. I am being forced to move and cannot bring him to my new place.

Trout would be happiest in a home with no other cats and multiple people (but not young children) for plenty of opportunities to cuddle.

Trout is an epileptic but if he gets his pill twice a day he has no symptoms. He is the easiest cat in the world to give a pill to - kind of like a reverse Pez dispenser. He knows that as soon as he swallows that pill he gets some Whiskas Temptations which he absolutely loves (other brands just don't come close, apparently). He knows the routine well and will ask you for his pill in the morning when you get up and in the evening when you come home. He makes friends easily and he knows the drill so cat sitters never have any trouble with him - other than having to say goodbye.
