Frank has been adopted!
Frank is a solid fellow who ran into hard times and found his way to a feral cat colony (probably the smell of food). Frank had a condition that caused his eyelashes to grow backwards (into his eyes), causing constant irritation. A volunteer found him, he was fortunate to have corrective surgery, and is now 100% corrected and normal. (This is not a recurring condition.)
Frank absolutely adores his brush (which comes with him - it is his very special brush!) and purrs with a low mumble. He also likes to bite the bristles of his brush when he gets into a "brushing frenzy."
He needs to be the only cat in the home, and really thrives as an "only pet." He is currently living in a home with other cats and a dog, and is isolated to a single room. He is not unhappy there - he loves toys and plays by himself quite well, but a cat (or any animal or person) shouldn't live in a single room for a lifetime - he needs a home of his own.
Frank is a good, sturdy, trusting cat with a bit of spunk, and should be in a home with a cat-savvy person or persons.
He can be an indoor/outdoor cat after a period of time indoors to get acclimated, but I have a feeling he would enjoy the pleasure of spending most of his time lying in the sun being brushed!
Frank is neutered, tested and is negative for feline leukemia/felines aids, and heart worm, and is up to date on all vaccinations. All medical records for his eye surgery, neutering, and vaccinations are available to his new owner.
