Johanna was adopted from the SFSPCA the day after Thanksgiving in 1994 through the Macy's window show by our mother, Esther. Esther was a loving owner and both enjoyed a loving relationship during the next 15 years. Now Esther is terminally ill and likely to leave Johanna without a home or a loving owner to care for her.
Johanna is a bit shy at first but warms up to new people once she becomes acquainted. She then becomes very sweet and affectionate. She loves to sit on your lap and purr. Johanna is in very good health and would most enjoy a middle-aged or senior home where someone has time to spend with her.
Johanna has become a little confused with her bowels due to her owner's long term health issues. Otherwise, Johanna is a wonderful cat who consistently uses her litter box. She does not bite, scratch or have any aggressive tendencies. She is looking for someone with a lap needing a sweet cat to keep them company.
