Carmen has been adopted!
Carmen w/LY (PCW #1190)Carmen w/LY (PCW #1190)
Female
Maine Coon Mix
Brown tabby long hair

Carmen was found a little under three weeks old in East Palo Alto with her head stuck in a fence slat.   The neighbor of the woman that rescued her was planning to allow his pit bull loose  "keep the kitten population under control".   All of that is history though, because Carmen took well to the bottle and has turned into one spunky little feline with a big personality.   Combined with this personality is a bit of attitude.  While being affectionate, she definitely has a mind of her own.

Carmen loves adventure and playtime with other felines.   She has her cuddle times but is quite a busy kitten. Carmen is an interactive cat more than a carry around kitty.   She does cuddle in a lap but it needs to be her idea. Be warned she does wake up during the night and might want to nibble on a toe or two if she sleeps in your bedroom.   This little girl loves to wrestle with the other kitten/cats and definitely needs a feline companion of similar  activity level.   Carmen would do well in an active home but if children are in the home, they should be around 7 or older.  She would be fine with a cat friendly canine although she will still need a feline companion.   Carmen does need some discipline at times and we are looking for a home  where the humans are experienced cat people.

With some Maine Coon blood in the mix, Carmen will likely be a larger sized female cat--around 9-10 pounds is our guess.   She has very soft fur and is relatively long-haired but doesn't take a lot of grooming.
