Abercrombie is very gentle, and friendly toward people. He purrs often (especially when someone is holding a can of his favorite food), rubs his head on people, and likes to be petted. He likes people to hold him.
Abercrombie is currently living in our back yard. He appears to have been left behind when people moved out of a house in our neighborhood. He's obviously been a housecat for quite awhile, and is very comfortable around humans.
He seemed lonely and hungry, so we are feeding him and leaving water for him. He's been checked by our vet, and found no microchip, and no diseases. Our vet gave him his shots and a flea treatment since he's outside. Abercrombie is a very sweet and gentle companion cat, who likes to be around his people. He'd be an excellent buddy for someone who wants a quiet, affectionate friend.
Our vet estimates him at 10 years old or more, so he's likely a bit set in his ways. We haven't seen him around other animals, so can't really say what he'd be like in that case. This little guy really needs someone to be his people and give him a permanent home. He's got lots of purrs and affection to give to the right person.
